RAGE PC Controls

First up, have played Quake since 1997, well aware not all games are going to be like Quake, but there are certain things that I'd assume would be standard issue.

The List so far:

1. Mouse Acceleration forced on, where is the option? (m_smooth cannot be changed to 0 for some reason on my version, so I'm stuck with hyper mouse)
2. Jerky mouse on menu (appears it's altering the sensitivity to 'snap' to the menu items)
3. g_fov (and the console) can't be accessed during co-op mode. Even if there was some cheat with this, who cares, let us have some fun with friends ... I use fov 117, forcing me to play with 80 is painful
4. Audio settings seemingly altered by Steam or RAGE. We use Mumble, so we switch off the in-game activate-on-speech option, but end up having our mics turned down because of the auto-settings
5. Lack of menu options - don't get me wrong, I love being a hardcoe l33t gamer hax0r and whatever but do I really need to go through a heap of console commands just to get the game set up? Where are the menu options for these things?

I haven't read through all the threads, but does id have plans of getting this game up to scratch on these seemingly simple problems?

Are you using a high DPI mouse? I too had this problem. Increase the ingame sensitivity to a value that eliminates the jerkiness, then alter m_yaw and m_pitch at the console or rageconfig.cfg to get your aiming sensitivity perfect (m_sensitivity doesn't seem to work).

Ah, good call. Yeah using Death Adder at 3500 DPI, will give the other commands a try, thanks.
