I just bought this http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN32D5500RFXZA to play Skyrim on,and it looks freakin beautiful,so I wanted to immerse myself even more and got some headphones only to realize that the TV has no headphone jack.
I was so dissapointed,so I looked everywhere on the back of the TV and found a "Audio Out" jack. I have no idea what that was so I said screw it and tried plugging my headphones in and sound came out of my headphones! I was so happy! BUT WAIT,theres a small problem. I grab my remote and try to adjust my TV volume so the volume on the headphones could go higher, but it has no effect at all. I was so sure it would also raise the volume on my headphones but nope,it did nothing but raise the TV volume itself.
So now Im stuck, trying to figure out how to raise my headphone volume, since they play WAY too low.
I know its not my headphones causing the problem,I plug them in to my iPhone and can push the volume to extreme ear hurting levels. Also, they are a pair of Skull Candy and sound really nice.
Any help would be REALLY appreciated.
Also dont suggest gaming headphones,I already have a pair of Sharkoon X-tatic Gaming headphones that work okay, but the volume on them is WAY too low, even with the volume slider at full,so I prefered to try an alternative, because a low volume really kills immersion. Im actually thinking of returning them or selling them since my normal skull candy headphones give a louder volume.
I just hope I can find a way to control or boost the volume level on my Skull Candy headphones.
