I would  if it wasn't Microsoft all wind-powered datacenters would be trolled (since it is Microsoft, only wind-powered Linux datacenters will be trolled :P)

I hate the patent system as it is right now...

If it was Apple, they'd be praised for their initiative.

Words cannot describe how much I agree with these two posts.

Microsoft cannot make any business decision without being flammed. One day Microsoft will announce a cure for a cancer and be shunned, while Apple will be praised after unveiling their baby-eating IPhone.

Yup about the only bad press I ever saw about apple was when that company that makes gaming apps was going to release that "Transport" game. The one where you had to get illegal immigrants across the border and your score was determined by how many you got across without dumping them out all over the place. Everyone threw a fit and apple bared the company from putting it up on the store with EVERYONE loving apple because of it. If Microsoft had done the same thing they would have been slapped with a lawsuit ordering them to pay $50mill in compensation. Dang apple boot lickers tick me off to no end at times and it's just unreal how fanatic they are about it.

As do I, preventing me from having the tablet I want... Well it is mostly Apple's fault...

Can you patent methods of complaining?

Think big. Patent complaining itself.

Just filed for the patent, and for the patent of using the word scrolls in any interactive media title, along with the, elder, sky, and rim.

I heard that a few years back, a company tried to patent patent trolling. They only reason they failed was because of the paradoxical nature of the idea.

Then all the computers would blue screen at critical times and we'd soon find ourselves in the middle of World War III.

Yes, because their top-tier level of businessmen and engineers were not able to come to the optimal power solution that you were so quickly able to decide upon.

You don't patent a title you trademark/copyright it, so your little quip about bethesda there fails...

Nuclear fission is expensive to build, expensive to maintain (safely), involves loads of red tape (and therefore takes a long time/plenty of effort to plan, get permission, etc.), takes a long time to build, faults require a greater downtime to fix (unless you cut corners...)...

Wind turbines have their flaws too, sure, but there's less resistance to them, you can start getting power pretty much as soon as you erect the first tower, when one starts having issues it's the only one you have to shut down...

Alternative energy sources are provided to you as a service instead of a product. You can only use the energy source in the home or device licensed to, and require additional license purchases to accommodate additional homes and/or devices.
