Serious Sam discussion

With Serious Sam 3 just moments before release and a long download wait ahead of me I felt like it was a good time to see who else had picked this game up. I usually want to do games on my own to take my time with things and get bugs and graphics settings right before I dive into multipler but would anyone be up for some co-op when I finally get it installed?

Also if anyone is interested I realize they are older but I would be up for co-oping some of the HDor classic versions of game as well.

I didn't realise my seriousness was worthy of discussion :o.

Probably won't buying 3 any time soon (other expenses, Skyrim getting priority, etc.), but I remember having fun with... The Second Encounter? Too bad I don't have a copy -_-.

Old school FPS's don't make for a satisfying diet all on their own, but it's good to see them still being produced by largish name companies. The current recipe seems to be simultaneously more complex and more dumbed down -paradoxical as that may sound- so a game where you simply kill lots of monsters with lots of guns is a refreshing change. Bit like a self confessed mindless action flick in a sea of try-hard serious films.

Just finished a couple hours of Serious Sam 3 and its amazing and the soundtrack is superb, only heard the first few levels though but I can rank this as one of the top favorite game soundtracks. They did seem to have made it les sopen and less enemies at once but hopefully this ramps up, but as it stands not too much of a change.

I must say though that using autodetect the game set my video settings at medium/high and my old 8800gtx, 4gb of RAM, and a Core 2 Duo at 2.6ghz runs this flawlessly. I did have an issue when I hopped in a co-op game online with 9 people for some reason but thats not a big issue and I probably won't play it with that many people anyways.
