Is this game worth buying? Is it open world? What is this game about? Ca someone post a list of OFFICIAL BUG fixes?

It's not an open world like Fallout or the Elder Scroll games. It's more of a action/adventure game. I'm not going into extensive detail about what it is about, because unless you're a fan of HP Lovecraft you won't understand it all. The short story verision is you're a cop investigating some strange things going on in some remote towns, and you're character has some mental health issues. It's done first person perspective. It's a good idea in terms of a game, but I found the AI to be horrible. I could walk up to an npc and pull the trigger, but other times they'd have a sixth sense and see me when I should've been hidden. I liked the story line since I'm a HP Lovecraft fan, but as a gamer I found it subpar because of the AI.
