Catalog Assault

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 2:54 am

Just curious how many others are being bombarded with catalogs this years. It was in October that I started receiving stuff from companies basically saying "WE'RE DESPERATE BUY OUR CRAP NOW!!!" with all of those so called "deals." In total i've probably gotten around 15 to 18 catalogs from various businesses with one having prices on stuff rivaling that sky-mall catalog crap. One had the weirdest thing i've ever seen with a working engine thing (no idea what it is) for $1,200 that's about the size of a pack of cigarettes.

I've only had one so far this year when I've been in from Argos.
Fell through the letter box and hit the deck like a bomb, I jumped since I was right behind the door at the time :P

Only the annual toy catalogue so far, not that thick either. Unfortunately the toys i play with nowadays aren't featured in such catalogues anymore :(

And no, i don't mean naughty stuff, i mean high-tech gizmos :hehe: Like the old joke, that is funny because it's true, goes: "The thing that separates men from boys is the price of their toys" :lmao:
