I was wondering if anyone has gotten either game to work on windows 7? I've searched but come up empty so far.

It works fine for me. What issues are you having with it?

The first won't run at all. The second will start but crash before reaching the main menu.

I don't think I've tried the first on Windows 7, but KotOR 2 works just fine.

I've got the first one off Steam and it runs on W7, is yours a boxed copy?

My boxed KoTOR 1 copy works ok unless you fight tarentatek's, krayt dragons or Rancors. For some reason killing them and destroying their bodies causes the game to crash, which has been fine so far, I just don't destroy the body but for some reason the tarentateks on Korriban crash my game when I kill them. This means I can't actually complete the game because I have to kill them to progress. Other than that I managed to get KoTOR 1 to work on 7.

I had quite a lot of technical issues with KOTOR on windows 7 with my ATI card. Had to turn some shadows off, and AA as well, in order to get the game to run without a black screen or terrible framerate. It ran much better on my old PC.
