BRINK: Bug Reports/ Glitches/ Lag Issues (All In Here Post T

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 3:43 pm

Nice & Neat for the developer's. Try to not put a HUGE explanation.
They don't have time to read sift and read through all that. One sentence if you can.
Or just list the issue.

Please also post the system your problem is pertaining to:

Let's help this game get better. Just REPORT PROBLEMS NOT WISHES OR IDEAS. Thank you.

Here are my gripes:

Xbox 360
1) Lag is horrible, please fix this.
(I pay for a high end internet connection so I know it's not me, none of my other games suffer lag either)

2) AI needs to be able to complete tasks so I can enjoy being a Medic or Engineer.

3) Sound cuts off once in awhile

AI does complete tasks, although they need work on thier decision making process. I have noticed a delayed reaction from when something needs to be done (like revive or stop someone from completing an objective) and when they do it.

There are some minor glitches when it comes to sound. Nothing bad just annoying when the sound cuts out.

Also, does anyone else notice how the enemy AI on Hard will always finish you off first, instead of your other teammates who are closer and/or easier to finish? Or am I just imagining that?

Nope you are correct. The AI on hard does finish you off.

Please Highlight your Issue Report next time so that it may stand out and the developer's can notice it just off a glance :)

I'll list it up above your:

Sound cuts off once in awhile (has happened to me several times)

If you are having a technical problem with Brink, please take the following steps:

Ensure you meet our Minimum System Requirements
Ensure your Graphics Drivers are up to date
Check our Known Issues List for common issues and workarounds (thread will be up soon)
Use the forum's search function to see if the issue has already been reported
Do not report more than one issue in a single thread
If you cannot find an existing report for the issue, report it with the following information:

Title

Be sure to include keywords specific to the bug
If you get an error message, carefully type it into the title (copy+paste works)
If you have a crash, WRITE 'CRASH' IN CAPITAL LETTERS!
e.g. "CRASH: Game crashed while playing on a dedicated server playing SecTow"
We may change the title of your report to make it easier to locate

Description

A description of the issue observed
Try to be as detailed as possible with your description
e.g. 'flickering' is more illuminating than 'corrupt' or 'broken'
More information is better information. A history of the match up until that point may include the one valuable clue that tips us off to the cause.

Steps to Reproduce

A chronological list of steps you took to produce the issue
If you have found a 'perfect' way to get this issue, you are awesome and we want to know!
Again, don't omit any information you think isn't important; it might be important!

you know what i found odd about this game is that aside from the horrible lag on 360, i haven't seen any real bugs or glitches. Most games usually have a huge list of fixes, and so far this one doesn't.

fix the lag, minor graphical issues, the AI and i think we're pretty good. then they can spend quality time on DLC like maps, more items for customization and possibly a few more guns.

Also, is there a problem that I don't know about with using the tech support sub-forums here at Bethesda, you know the forums that SD testers/developers might look at first?

Xbox 360 complaint: The graphics in Brink are garbage (weird blur, non-loading textures etc.) and the networking (online play) blows. (It blows because the lag is god awful). These are my only two issues with Brink. If Splash Damage manages to fix these two issues 75% - 100% I'll love Brink.

If they don't fix these issues in a timely manner, or never fix the issues period, I'll never purchase another Splash Damage product.

Good Point whydmer.

What you mentioned is true, but there are still LOTS of people who come on here and place complaints of bugs.

Just trying to keep it all in one place. Apologies if I ruffled your feathers. Just trying to add my support in this side of spectrum.

If it's been reported above. No need to duplicate people :)

Let's just keep it tidy.

There is place for reporting technical issues already, its called the Tech Forum. And making one general thread will just cause confusion, theres sub forums for each platform for a reason.

Not that I knock at trying to keep things organized, but what youre doing is the opposite. Dont worry about people making tech threads here, mods move them to the tech forums. Its kinda what they do.
