I've only read the first book, and got about half way through the second book before giving up on it. I really enjoyed the first book, but I got very tired of all of the Nasuada chapters in the second book. Not sure if I should even bother trying to read it again .

Without spoiling anything, was it good? Better/worse than the other three?

I used to love the books, but he just waited too long to release this one. Maybe a year or two ago I would have still been interested, but I unfortunately don't have the time to read the book, let alone read the last one since I can't remember what happened in it.

If I get it for -mas I hope its hardcover (otherwise will look rather lame next to my hard cover Eldest and Brisingr copies wish I had gotten Eragon in hard cover but I originally rented that from a library and didn't actually buy the book till last year or the year before)

any one know if the last book Inheritance is larger or thinner than the last two ?

The new book is something like 800 pages, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

And books aren't usually released in paperback until after they've been out in hardcover for awhile. So you're probably fine there, too.

Personally I loved it but part of that was because I'd built it up in my mind. Story wise it was on a par with the other three in my opinion. Very enjoyable.

Honestly. Yes. Me and a girl I know had a lovely little nostalgic talk about it though so it's all good.

The world he created is surprisingly good even though the books are mediocre at best.

Give him some time to mature and grow as a writer and I can definitely see him creating great fantasy literature. :)

Ah...I remember when I was at my first school's book sale and Eragon just captured my eye. I bought it, read it, and it was my first fantasy book. Still love the series. Good times.
Can't wait to get the new one. Maybe for Christmas?

Its been sonme time since reading the third book, and well the third was painful to read... Also I swear to god if this book contains anymore Eragon drooling over Arya I am burning my inheritance books.

Most memorable thing for me was for all the wrong reasons, the emo off for control, when 2 people cut themselves until 1 gives up, the [censored] was he on when writing that.

Win Went to the book store with my mom to pick up some books for one of my cousins and instead of having to find this book and point it out to my mom was a massive display right at the front

and thankfully i did point this out because apparently she didnt remember getting me Eragon for last x-mas because it was paper back and the other two are hardcover
so will more than likely be getting this for x-mas now ^.^
