Wrong. PC is not getting any more patches for Skyrim than console, save for fixes to problems that only the PC has (which is not a good thing); every platform can develop unique issues, like the PS3's framerate issues during extended play or the 360's installation problem. The PC is just getting their patches/updates first because it's easier to do so; console updates have to go through more official processing and approvals with the big cheeses. If the PC does get more fixes, it's obviously not a good thing. Source? Get your own; you made the claim and therefore have the burden of proof, but I'm pretty sure we read from the same source anyway. Just don't misquote like that.
Anyway, I don't understand the purpose this thread is supposed to serve. Is it just more complaining to the effect of "my preferred platform got shirked about X for Y," or do you have a point to make? Sorry OP, I don't get you.
Anyway, if you can manage to uninstall the 1.2 patch (I know it can be done on consoles, and I was lucky enough to not have internet at home when it came out, so I avoided it altogether), then I hope you can enjoy Skryim until 1.3 :tes:
I hope topics like this stop soon, but what the hey
Cheers.

Directly contradict Gstaff's forum / blog comment posts and the main blog posts more. I believe your authoritative statements over the ones Bethesda made. You are clearly an expert, highly qualified source compared to the Bethesda Blog and Gstaff. And it's a great thing that the PC gets special attention. It's a vastly more powerful platform and deserves extra attention. How would you feel if your favorite console version was hobbled because of a Wii version? With UI / controls designed for the Wii? And graphics made for the Wii but upscaled with some filtering?
The hypocrisy amazes me. I bet almost *everyone* that posts "Baww PC gamers are elitist because they want the game to take advantage of their platform's technology" would complain and whine like no tomorrow if Bethesda hobbled their Skyrim for the Wii.
And the point is, Bethesda's sales expectations most likely got totally destroyed by the market. Skyrim PC vastly outsold Modern Warfare 3 PC. Did I mention it outsold Modern Warfare 3 by about 3x? That's huge. I bet the game will sell more over December and when the dev kit comes out.
