Boy oh boy oh boy... I feel really nerdy for dreaming about the announcement of "Rome 2: Total War", but I did and I was really sad in my dream because my PC couldn't run it but I saw previews and trailers for it... best dream i've had in a week, however sad it may be.

Rome2 Total War??? I haven't read such announcement, but if there is an announcement I would really like to read it link please. :)

Done. The OP is updated with your recommendations. Thanks. :D

I played the Stainless Steel mod once, but I couldn't find out what purpose the mod had or what benefit the gameplay would have. Perhaps I'll try it again in the future.
I haven't play the Extended Greek mod yet, but I do have the Third Age mod installed and so far I like it. :)

Over all the years and all the modding, I hung up my Milkshape and code template 2 years ago.
Then I found http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=867, a massive M2:Kingdoms mod.
My modding Jones was rekindled and I've been tweaking this beautiful mod ever since.
It's different and, obviously, not for everyone. But given a chance, you may find it quite enjoyable.

Although I have been a bit opposed to it in the past, playing Skyrim has made me want a Rome 2 Total War.

I think it would be immeasurably epic however if there was an Elder Scrolls Total War.

Mods, mods and it can be true, the closest thing to that currently is the Third Age Total War.

I wish I kept going with my Fallout: Total War mod but I erased all my assets. :sadvaultboy:

Isn't Third Age the Lord of the Rings mod? If not, which game is it for? I only have Shogun 2 now (which the sound is still broke on).

Fallout: Total War? How does that work?

It's for M2:K I think.

It was a rehaul of the game, I reskinned a bunch of units but never uploaded the files or assets or backed them up. My PC got wiped when I went back to Bahrain and I lost all my progress on it. :sadvaultboy:

There is a Morrowind: Total War work in progress somewhere.

Would anyone recommend any of the newer Total Wars? I stopped buying them after M2:TW because of computer problems.

EDIT: Did I just necro this thread? Damn, sorry mods.

EDITEDIT: I was reading the join date instead of the post date /facepalm

I looked it up and it was dead :(

The newer ones are pretty good, I can't vouch for Napoleon but I can say that Empire is very good and Shogun 2 is damn well good, if you don't mind not having much unit variety. I can't play Shogn 2 anymore though because of sound problems.

Ooo yay!

I looked at a different thread somewhere which led me to believe it was dead.

I don't know much about Morrowind (never played it) but I could get into it if I researched the lore and stuff.

Edit: Any release date on this mod?

It fixes a variety of bugs, imroves the AI, adds a few smaller mods (customisable install), improves armies, adds more units, adds more factions, improves historical accuracy, adds more regions and makes some graphical changes. It improves on the original all round whilst sticking to the original spirit of the game.

I see. Thanks for the information. :D

Back then when I installed this mod I didn't know much about the mods for Total War games what I know today.
