Saints Row 3 six

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 7:44 pm

First off, excuse me if there's already a Saints Row 3 thread. I have no idea where it is.
Anyway, how much six is in this game? I am 15, and quite mature, but I need to know before my parents can make the decision on the purchase.

I can't answer your question as I don't have the game yet.

Well you can use a giant six toy to beat your enemies with, beyond that I do not know.

Also, just ask your parents for money, the. Buy whatever the hell you want, always works for me.

Rated M for mature, though.

Ask for a little more thanthe game costs, get an older friend to go buy the game for you, let him keep the change.

I know how to do stuff like this.

Yes, because I'd rather be influenced to go kill people than [censored] a stripper. /sarcasm
I'm smart enough not to get influenced by these things, but they don't see that.

Not saying I, myself think you would do that (which is why I edited my post), but it just seems like a more logical response for parents to be upset about violence rather than six.

What I used to do when my parents would determine which games I got was this:

Explain to them that you're old enough to deal with it in a mature manner and that regardless of if you get the game or not you will be exposed to it one day. I would always bring up the fact when it came to nudity/brief nudity/sixual themes that if that was really all that I cared about in the game then I would just go get on the internet and not spend $60 on computer generated images. Or when it came to violence, it was better to experience it on TV and in games than to get too curious one day and wonder what a person would look like when they've been decapitated.

After a while your parents will begin to trust you being around things of that nature because they know you'll handle it maturely. For instance I turn 17 in February, but my parents have been ok with me watching R rated movies with very explicit content and playing games with explicit content since I was about 13, even younger when it came to movies (Watched "Platoon" when I was 7). Just explain to them that they can trust you to be mature about it.

Oh and once you gain their trust do NOT do anything to lose it. I've been there, done that, and can say that when you have just about every privilege taken away from you that you took for granted, your life will become a very dull and monotonous one.

I see it the other way around. Hell, in this backwards society, people are more worried about teenage pregnancy than death. But, I'm a guy, and they know I love violence, but they also know I killing someone is ILLEGAL, although six isn't.

And ok aSaPp!5@, thanks.

Fisting machines, prosttutes, giant purple "female pleasure devices".....yeah, theres a LOT of sixual content in SR3.

I honestly wouldn't recommend this game to be played by anyone who's under 18.

The Great Orgy.

But yeah good luck convincing your parents. I had trouble buying M games until I was 13 then my parents didn't care anymore.

Pretty much this.

By the time I was 14, 75% if my game library was rated M.

I've finished the game and I haven't come across anything that I'd call sixual but in saying that, I'm 22 so I'm a bit more 'worldly.'

I think that maybe, just maybe, he was being sarcastic :whisper:

In any case OP I got some advice:

Tell your parents exactly what is in the game as far as the M rated content goes. If they say no that you can't have the game respect it and take it like an advlt.

It might not get you the game but it will get you points with your parents. Then, maybe, the next time you want a more mature game they might get it for you.

SR3 isn't GTA:SA. There's no hot-coffee like content. The game is fairly borderline though, but not to the point where characters actually get it on.
