Help me find an old game

I've been scouring the internet high and low for a PC game I played about 10-12 years ago, and I can't for the life of me find it. The problem is that I don't know what it's called. Heck, I don't even think it's a real game - it came on a disk that was free with something.

It's a safari game. You start off in a hunting lodge and there is an old man in safari gear with a big white beard talking to you. I couldn't get the sound to work so I have no idea what he said. You could explore the lodge and there were a few things to interact with, for example if you clicked on a fly on the table you got a first person view of the fly buzzing around the room. There was also some mini-game you could activate by clicking a fish bowl.

You'd start off by exploring the lodge and it's grounds and searching for items like a map, compass, camera, etc. You then got into a jeep and drove around to one of four or so large safari areas. Once in these areas, you could wander around and take pictures of the animals. After a few minutes, the screen wold go back and I'd end up back at the lodge. I think it was because I was missing some items, but as there was no sound, I had no idea what the old guy was saying to me.

That's about all the information I have I'm afraid. If this sounds even remotely familiar to anyone, I'd be grateful for some help.

EDIT: I forgot to add that it's all played from a first person perspective.
