Too Many Clans!

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 8:57 am

Ok guys, I know a lot of you are pretty excited about the release of the new clan site with its new features like the clan image editor and member status i.e.; Leader, Officer, Recruit, Member etc..... but we really need to start getting the ball rolling with matchmaking/ tournaments. A few other players have posted subjects about this, stating that we need a way for people to look through clans easier perhaps a filter of the most active clans aside from the clans going down a numerical list of first all the way to last. I know for a fact there are probably well over 100 clans on the site with a minimum of 1-2 players in each, but it's time to actually start looking for a permanent clan. Tell your friends about the Brink and how much it's changed the more the merrier but if you make a clan with someone make sure it at least has 5 people so you can play 5v5.

One agrees, but on the other hand once the real clans start fighting, they will move up the ranks, one man shows will head downwards into the abyss . I'd also like to see SD enter a staff team and also like a crown symbol to be given to the top of the ladder team each week.

I kind of fixed the problem with the clan thing for now, it shows all the clans that have more then 3-5 players and who are active. Seems like this would be the right step in having people finally pick out a clan more efficiently, plus anyone who is active or has more then 3-5 players can post their clan name up.

I sent you a message about the clan meeting last night and a text chat so you can still be in the loop Red_Moses and Monogenes1 were there, but I talked to Mr. Blobz from GOON and he said that they would be down for a clan battle but we are waiting on Dominoninetwo to activate his stats site so we can at least have a 5v5.

what is funny is that a majority of the "clans" are just one person.. a few matches will push those ones down to the bottom...

First match that matters this weekend.. God's Left Hand [GLH] vs Goon Mob [GOON]..

Brink needs to intergrate a system like the website's into the game itself. that way you could get in contact with the leader or others to set up your matches faster and you could connect with free agents

also they need to have a free agent system. you could look at people that arent already in a clan and have a list of people there that you could recuits based on stats, k/d ratio, comunitation trafic, volume. reaction time, and times buffed others.

We need to set up a mercenaries listing, for those who want to play, but dont have or cant fully commit to clans.

Ya looking forward to the match fo sure...as it stands right now the only clans capable of fielding a team are us (Goon Mob), Gods Left Hand, Knightmares and Dark Firebird...the should be ready very soons are Arkestra and New World Order. I'm really glad when I see new waves of players coming into Brink but all you new guys trying to start your own clan is honestly looking a little silly. You newer players need to either group up or join up. And what's with all the brand new ID's starting clans? At this rate Goons will be playing GLH again by next week.

To try and help the PS3 Brink community Goon Mob has decided to open their recruiting, we're not elitests so anyone is welcome as long as you're not a douce on your mic. Now, we already have a team of five so none of us are going to want to sit out just to let someone else play so what we're thinking is we'll try and develop sub clans that we'll kind of sponsor, we'll fill in where needed to make full teams and then pass down the responsibility to someone else once we get to know you and then maybe move some into Goon Mob proper. Really want to see Brink clans take off so it's up to the vets to step up and get this thing kick started.

The other thing is Goon Mob runs out of newwavegaming.tk/ (NWG) and we have a Brink Clans section that is open for anyone to use, if you want a space for you clan to communicate we'll give you your own public/private section. The forum was created by my friend Milly to try and get clan battles going back in the summer because we were all calling for clan support that wasn't ready yet. No one took advantage of it and Brink players really fizzled out.

Well official clan support is now here. Take advantage of GOONS/NWG's resources or not but lets get this thing going and let's keep it healthy. It kicks off Friday with GOONS vs GLH and I hope it's just the start of many matches to come for everyone. See ya out there.

^ This all the way, Players definetly need to stop one man armying and either form a new group with a bunch of other players or just join the more established ones. With as many one man armies as we have on the Brink Clan site it's enough to make about 20-30 clans with AT LEAST 3-5 people in it. There's even a guy on the Brink 3v3 Holiday Ladder (AGAIN 3V3) who is BY HIMSELF facing clans that have more then 3- 5 players....really?

Look what I found guys...

"Hibernation is a state your clan goes into when it has been inactive for some time. The clan will be removed from the ladder rankings and will not be able to receive challenges. The clan will leave hibernation when they next play a clan match - they will need to arrange this clan match by issuing challenges to other clans."

Yeah, obviously this needs to be looked at and whoever is in a one man army needs to support the more established clans already, this is proof enough.

Both Easy and I already have our L2 buttons taped down and our lights are stretching their legs!!! Now if I could just get Suzuki out of Skyrim for a few hours

NWO looks like they already have a good size clan together with some Brink heavy hitters on the roster..
