Why do I svck at LA Noire?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 4:41 pm

So I've been playing L.A. Noire for awhile now and it's pretty fun, but I svck at it. I can never tell when people are lying. Like they'll have shifty eyes and I say lie but then when I have to present further evidence I have trouble deciding which is most relevant. I'm pretty sure I've been collecting all of the evidence but sometimes I can't tell what it's looking for. Either that or I'm flat out wrong in the first place.

Also when I go to use intuition when I think I need it and it turns out the answer I was going to pick was right in the first place anyway...blah.

Any advice, or are you supposed to not be 100% right all the time? Still having fun, but I'm just poking in the dark most of the time.

You can be right 100% of the time, you just either have to be a good detective, or have all the right answers written down from trial and error :P

Another problem: How does the saving work?

I played through one location earlier and had to go so I turned off my Xbox and I know it said saving at some point, but now when I restarted it has me back before I even started the last location....Pain in the butt. If this keeps happening I probably wont even want to play anymore (second time I had to replay a location I already did).
