Stronghold Kingdoms is a free MMO that allows a country wide politics, fighting, building and interaction. It is medevil time frame, but some of the concepts of it are interesting.
You can purchase cards (random collectible cards in a sense that once used are gone) but they do not make or break the game. They do speed up some things or help you produce others faster, but how you play, the choices you make on what to build and who to fight, truly make up the game play in this Free MMO.
You will not survive alone for very long and if you make others mad at you will will die quickly. Bullys will be gained up on, so unless those bullys have a strong faction to come to their aide, they will lose over time.
I do not want Fallout Online to be just like it. But after playing for a while, I wonder if there couldn't be 2 levels of Fallout Online. One of the face to face, fight or die, quest or sit around drinking (in game) MMO, and one where you play at the higher level, were rep, rebuilding and massive fights take place.
Just some very general thoughts about the bigger what will be done with Fallout Online.
