This could really be in the bar section. but allot of ideas might pop up so I'm putting it here.

So what is your character going to Look like?
How are you gonna spread your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats(2high 3medium 2low)
where are you going to focus your skill-points?
and what kind of gameplay are you going to seek out first?
and what perks, existing or should exist will you pick (try to not go to OP with this one)

feel free to edit your own character after creation. its mostly meant for other to se how different people view the game and char. creation.

So basically, I would build a strong Agile character, a fast running mule.
If the speed dissadvantages etc. are not to big I could make him a supermutant :mrgreen:

I would focus him first inn Melee, to be protected and for grinding.
Melee characters don't have to think about ammo, and you don't need one weapon for each situation, basically anything that hacks and slashes will do the trick. Its limited, yes, but I will know my limits and play by that, second trait I would focus in would be Barter, because with high strength comes allot of room for goods and such. If I go a more "battle" oriented way I would do sneak third, to stay hidden and to get up close and personal before engaging. If the non battle/pvp gameplay is tempting, repair/science, whatever gives the most crafting options will be my next pick.

For perks I would love to get the Hoarder at an early level, being able to carry LOTS of materials and make allot of money, staying at the top of the economy. Other perks I would love is Melee damage increase, speed increases and anything giving me a bigger inventory/more carry weight.

well... depends if they are going somewhat generic mmo quest/combat or if they are sticking with old-school fallout style .P

generic:
S: Medium

C: Low
I: Medium

Old-school fallout style:
S: Low
P: Medium
E: Medium
C: High
I: High
A: Medium
L: Low

I'm not gonna write all the attributes/skills etc but if it's like the old fallout where you can do a somewhat bad combat character but is still able to play the game because there so many ways to complete things, then I'd go with high charisma and intelligence, if it's generic mmo where the only way to complete something is to do exactly what the quests says/kill everything, then I'm just getting medium to high endurance/agility/luck and perception... For perks perhaps Mr Fixit, maybe Explorer if it would be changed a bit and kama sutra master ... just kidding or am I :shock: :oops: :lol:
But may change when more info is released about our dear FOOL

I've been meaning to make a similar thread, just couldn't get around to it.

When Fallout Online comes out, I'll have my main (Human) be a ranged DPS and will specialize in Small Guns, Lockpick & Speech. He'll be pretty mediocre in SPECIAL.

C: 6 (Good)
I: 6 (Good)
A: 6 (Good)
L: 5 (Average)

My Support/Medic will be a Ghoul who is non-combative but when it comes to battle, he'll have an indirect role (Healing a Tank toon.) His tagged skills will be Energy Weapons, Medicine & Speech.

S: 3 (Bad)
P: 7 (Very Good)
E: 6 (Good)
C: 7 (Very Good)
I: 7 (Very Good)
A: 4 (Poor)
L: 6 (Good)

And last, my Tank toon will be a dumb Super Mutant who specializes in either Melee, Big Guns or Explosives.

L: Medium (whatever is left/needed for the above to work out)

Will mainly focus on lockpick, speechcraft and science, in order to be a generally helpful character towards NPCs and other players.
Will probably level up "beneficial skills" such ad medicine, barter and so on following that.
Hoping such a non-combat oriented build will have a place in the FOOL world, either by turning a profit for a group of people as a main trader, or gain reputation and benefits from the local friendly groups - will have to wait and see. :)
