My brother got SWTOR and I'm interested in playing it too but my main concern is how driven can I possibly feel to play the game when my characters weapon will be the same thing at max level that it was at the start?

I've googled like 100 times and found nothing saying that the lightsabers ever actually get to looking cooler.... only that you can change the color and that the hilt that will be covered by your hands anyway might look better........whoop-dee-doo!

So is it true? Lightsaber at the start , and at the end its still just a damn lightsaber? :sadvaultboy: Whats the motivation to play if your character halfway looks like the same turd at 50 that they did 1-49

I do want to be playing an MMO though so if not this I'm going to do a RIFT 7 day trial (Which I did once before but with a crappy laptop that couldn't run it well) and maybe just split off from my brother in the name of a more enjoyable game
