Planet V13?

(continued from the other thread ...)

yeah it svcks that "they" seemingly got the better end of things (*cracks a 40 and pours it out on the curb*), now then .... Viva La "Planet V13"?

That's got a nice ring to it, and Borderlands presentation of a anarchistic wasteland due to being another world instead of a post apocalyptic earth was a nice breath of fresh air (bulletstorm was even better in that it mixed post apocalyptic and being another world).

between ... uhm ... Earthrise, Fallen Earth, Rage, FO3, FO;NV, pretty much everything Epic has put out in the past 5 years, Metro, and the STALKER games: the whole "earth got blowed up good" thing is kinda getting old at this point. it's not that I dislike running around in trashed urban environments, but we've kinda seen just about every way for shit to get wrecked up and that list isn't even including the subcategory of "Aliens done blowed the shit up" and EA/Activision's ongoing dike measuring contest of how WW3 is in the process of pooping on everything/everyone.

look, some of my greatest memories in gaming are of exploiting the deathclaw nest respawns for XP to max out characters and shooting hokers in Reno, but the setting is kinda tapped out: Time to blow the shit out of some other planet .... or maybe just the opposite? after all there are recently quite a number of interplanetary sand box MMO fans suddenly out on their asses that would probably be quite interested in a online "war among the stars" that focuses more technical details than action. hay, "OC" ..... i got something for ya right here! _|_ (^.^) _|_

"MMO-RPG" = "Mass Market Oriented - Repetitive Profit Genera"
