I'm not good with computers, but something tells me that you shouldn't have done that.
Maybe your computer is full of crap and it's time to wipe it.

Why would you take the memory out to count the pins? If you look at your system it'll tell you how much memory you have installed.

Dit you put the ram back in properly, you have to be a little brutal with them.

My PC used to work improperly like yours, but then it took an arrow to it's motherboard. So if you got a bow somewhere...

... or you could always try re-seating the RAM, from your description you taking the RAM out and putting it back in has been the only change to the PC so perhaps it's not properly in the slots currently.

when dose it randomly restart?

It could be your Registry,
try CCleaner

if that dose not work try CHKDSK! {open command prompt and type "CHKDSK C: /r" (without quotes) then it will say "Run on next boot?" press the 'Y' key and hit enter, then restart your pc. and when your computer restarts it will run.

CHKDSK is magic!

if it was your ram not properly inserted, your computer would not startup.

Sounds like CMOS error.

But the bios will tell you this before it restarts.

Edit: It'll tell you this after a restart.

Super "loady"?

If you continuously hear a beep on restarting re-seat the RAM sticks. They're probably loose.

LMAO!!

@Papafern, no joke. When I built my new rig in November of 2011 for Skyrim I was having an issue with it not posting. It would post, go into Windows but if I shut it down it wouldn't post. I had to reset it constantly. Then for some reason when it would boot the video card shut-off and then I'd have to take it out, reseat it then try again. It was frustrating. I got so pissed that I punched the front of the case and sent it flying across my living room. My wife turned to me and says, 'Yeah, real mature. Idiot. Like that'll fix it. We spent all that money and here you are beating the [censored] out of the computer. Good luck RMAing that out now after punching it.' I picked the computer back up, set it on the desk and walked away from it for a few minutes to cool down. I came back, wired it up and turned it on. It posted, went into Windows and didn't have a problem doing so the rest of the day. I looked at my wife, smiled and said, 'Proof that violently punching stuff does in fact fix them.' and then proceeded to play Skyrim. It still to this day runs perfectly. Although, now the front of the case is dented from me punching it.

I once had such is this with my pc. Turned out to be my front usb port was near a small mettle strip on the front of my ps and so close together that if any static electricity occured (by my dog brushing by to closely to the tower or me quicky walking near it) it would cause an arc between the usb port and the small metal strip and make it restart by itself.

Yeah, sounds crazy but that was it. Cost me money to figure that one out as I couldn't figure it out on my own and ended up taking it in. Took them a bit to figure it out as well. They removed the metal strip (there for decoration) and I've never had it happen again.

Not saying it's your problem but it's something to think about.

See I knew I wasn't the only one who had the magic touch :D
I do the same with my xbox, I've had 2 and 3 RROD but I kick it or near it and it works fine when restarted. (I know 2 lights is only an overheat but it still helps vent :P)

I've gotten the 3 RROD on my 360. It's an '08 model I just shut it off and then turn it off then back on and it's fine. Eventually I plan on doing the fix for it.

I've thought about just buying a new one since I oddly 2 RROD when ever going online and sometimes during singleplayer games like Mass Efect Rock Band and Guitar Hero and the Xbox/Power supply aren't even warm.

Thing is though, I play my 360 a few times a year. 90% of the time I'm on my computer. I only got the 360 for Forza 2 & 3 but ended up collecting other games. So, I'm in no rush to do the fix.

Yours will most likely be fine, just a freak accident in the system that won't happen for another while.
Mines is frequently used by either me or my brother, for me it's not big deal but I'd be best fixing it anyway so he isn't shouting to me about why it broke and how it's 'my fault' it broke

When you put the RAM back did the little white things on either side click into place?

those things labeled ejector tab.

If they didn't it means you didn't push hard enough.

Edit: Appears I have arrived late, your problem has already been fixed. Well here is a cookie anyway...

Don't you love siblings? Yeah, when my 360 finally dies I'll most likely not buy another one. I don't play it enough.
