Favourite game series? : Othor Games

What is your favourite game series of all time? Mine is Splinter cell, I am about to replay the original trilogy now.

Yeah I love TES, but I grew up playing Splinter Cell a lot so that is probably why.

I have a lot of "favorite" games but I don't think I have a favorite series anymore. Too often there's one or two (or more) in the series that I dislike or at least don't love, so that means I can't say it's a favorite series. The closest would probably be the old city-builder series (Caesar, Pharaoh, etc) where I liked almost all of them fairly well, even if there's only one I still replay, at this point.

Not another "best [insert something] of all times"! I love so many series and simply cannot eliminate other fantastic series.

Therefore I'll go ahead and say FIFA. I wouldn't say it's superior to other amazing series (like Zelda who may be my favorite series), but I've played the [censored] out of every FIFA since 98'.

Damn thats rough, to see what splinter cell has become now... Conviction was terrible.

No idea, I really enjoyed things, only to see sequals ruin them.

I would have to say Halo.

I really like TES, but while I keep on going back to Morrowind, I am not really playing much Skyrim anymore.

But I also have a high spot for The Legend of Zelda and Sonic.

by a long shot. Duh.

But if we're going to be fair and limit this to non-Bethesda series, probably Ultima, Civilization or Sim City, those three jostle position for the top spot in my mind, right now being in that order.
