Is it just me, or... ?

Now, totally being honest in my point of view,

I thought the gameplay in coop was FAR better than what we got in singleplayer, and I mean playing the coop missions on my own.
In fact, I felt it was the gameplay we should've gotten in singleplayer. There were maybe 3x the enemies, and the action pulsed the whole way through the missions. During campaign, you had like a max of 3 enemies going at you, while in coop there are like 6 or 7.

For some reason, I loved especially the mission were you fought the Authority in Wellspring. I was like... "DAMN this is badass." I felt like a reall hero, and I could imagine people running and screaming all around the town... though there was no one, lol.

To summarize, Rage's coop gameplay far exceeds its campaign gameplay in my opinion, and was far more immersive. Not to mention I didn't feel like it was too easy. I WANT that gameplay in Rage2

Anyone else agree? Of course, to know my experience, you have to play coop ALONE...

I agree - even when played alone, co-op is more fun than the single-player campaign. It is traditional, no-nonsense id gameplay.

Granted, I don't have the game yet, but I wager the lack of enemies is to drive home the fact that people may have survived the asteroid, but not many.

Though it's true (asteroid thing), it's been at least 100 years after the first survivors, and people reproduce rather quickly... the amount of enemies in campaign is ridiculously low. As I always say, I love the game. However, the lack of enemies has nothing to do with their concept, it's simply how they decided to deliver them at 60fps.

You'd expect lots and lots of bandits if it's their hideout. Lots of the hideouts are so empty is seems that Shriff Black and the Authority could easily wipe them out like bugs, and yet they're a "threat." Only in the coop missions do I feel like I'm infiltrating a bandit hideout.

Buy the game and see for yourself

I always harp on about the co-op (even solo) when talking about RAGE. Agreed, definitely a highlight and what the SP should have felt more like.

Yeah CO-OP was way more fun than SP - TDM would have been even better #RageFails

Yeah, I'm hoping Rage2 will have it. NO ONE is really playing online on PC, servers are always empty, and I don't like the vehicle rallies. I though they were going to have RACING for mutliplayer, I would've liked that. I hate rally combat. :(

Anywho I beat all the Coop missions now, and I must say I strongly stand by my point. The coop missions alone were more immersive and action packed than the whole SP mode... I especially liked fighting in Wellspring, which I wanted to do in SP so badly!
