Get more on RAGE on the go with the RAGE HD v2.0 update. The update, now available on the iTunes, includes new melee combat, official support for iOS 5, and enables the in-app purchase of two new episodes, Kraken and Aqueduct. The new episodes are available for purchase for $.99 via the “Store” button on the RAGE HD main menu.

Description of update on iTunes:

New Mutant Bash Store with IAP

Now that I've got the update I will make a quick summary of it:
App Size: 2 GB (Fully extracted and installed - 1,2 GB download size)
- 2 new levels!

Note: you pay 1$ once and you get both of them in the 'Store' menu. There are 3 slots for In-app-purchases it seems, and episode 4+5 take 1 slot, so I guess that would mean there would be room for an episode 6+7 and 8+9.

Note 2: the new episodes are already within the update, but can only be accessed if they are bought. This means you still have to download the new maps even if you haven't bought them.
- Better sound effects for the weapons.
- Better graphics for the weapons (example of the shotgun: http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/8756/oldsg.png http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/6030/newsg2.png, http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/8180/newar2.png - http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/771/newhands.png.
- A bit more freedom - view can now be rotated way further than previously.

Which proves the game isn't abandoned :)

They just take FOREVER to get their content out. Well this seems awesome anyway, liking the new episode names...

hey xassiron, thanks for your own words, i tried to get an info about the "new melee". every site in the world is only copy and pasting the official news. but nobody said what exactly new melee is, i played it but i didnt know. so thanks.

i wish there were a full changelog.

Rage iOS

Since I have the online leaderboard, the two levels as "Kraken" and "Aqueduct" noticed both levels had no high score and were not playable. Now they are published.

Update

The game update brings compatibility to iOS fifth VGA and HDMI out connections are possible with a TV now. The game opening credits were renewed. Rage Trailer The old is replaced by a new trailer. New Maps

Since I have the online leaderboard, the two levels as "Kraken" and "Aqueduct" noticed both levels had no high score and were not playable. Now they are published. The new maps already put in there in the update, but of course available after purchase. The new maps are called Octopus - Episode 4 and Aqueduct - Episode 5 Basically it is DLC, there's more from the already known. Mapfutter new is always good, what's the news but not great. In octopus, it goes through the basemant vault, in a room is a strange machine, lie about medical arms rigid. In it goes through an old aqueduct water Anlanger connected with tunnels, similar to the sewer in the main game Rage. Graphically, it looks good again, id simply having on it with the light setting. Thinking about improvements

Now that I've played it again I realize it can make a lot more from the game. So far, Rage should be iOS a cute little fast-paced game. Whatever it is. id has even bigger plans and want to deliver more content. As future features would I still come up with a new type of enemy, a stronger opponent or miniboss, Survial mode, maybe even a new weapon. Moreover, one could weight the race button stronger in the race at the moment rail shooter gameplay is somewhat redundant, because we are automatically on rails from battle to battle enemies and can not be skipped.

John Carmack once said after Rage multi-platform could still appear Rage iOS another game. Carmack mentions in interviews always like many plans, not all of it is implemented. Find something but reveal more sympathetic than ever what the business Schweiger. Now if only the current game times will continue supportet, then probably the plans for a second Rage iOS game are laid only once on ice. I forgot to mention that the enemies also seem to stagger when you shoot them - I don't recall that happening before.
