I have played this game for about 3 months now.

I paid FULL retail price ($60) and I really enjoy this game. It is definitely an id game, it is the next gen gaming world, bar none.

B.U.T.......

There is a problem with the console activation.

Before you naysayers jump in here, let me tell you this...............

I DO NOT enact the console to code cheat this game. Trust me you pussies, I can beat the game on nightmare WITHOUT the conole.

But, the console key (the tilde key) just so happens to be right between the "1" key (fists) , the "Q" key (quickuse), and the "TAB key, my binding inventory key.

One little slip of the effing pinky finger will hit the TILDE key (consdole) by accident. AND I DO MEAN BY ACCIDENT.

So guess what that little accident means? It means, that from only one time from that point on I keep getting a message window that says..........

"Achievements have been deactivated because you opened the console".........paraphrase, but you get it.

I have run this game from start to finish DOZENS of DOZENS of times without opening the console by accident since then, BUT, I still get this message.

I have copierd out the "console.cfg file", I have changed the rage.cfg file from "1" to "0", nothing seems to work.

YOU GUYS NEED TO FIX THIS.

Lets say for one mutant minute I truly WANT to cover the achievements, I evidently will never be able to because the CODE seems to maintain a record of the console being opened.

There is a way to determine the difference between an accidental (or even purposeful) opening of the console, and the entry of console entered code.

If you guys need to know how to fix that, please let me know cause I would be MORE than happy to show you. Geeeeeeeeez
