I have spend hours trying to fix this and it's really starting to annoy me.
I did a quick search of the forums and couldn't see anything like this issue.

The game will randomly freeze while playing usually within 5 - 20 minutes, can't do anything but reboot.
CPU was running at ~80% on all 4 cores constantly. To compare, I ran Homefront at max setting and it was nowhere near this.
I then put Brink on the lowest possible resolution and graphics settings and CPU was still running that high.
Graphics card is 6950.
Other than the crashing the game runs perfectly.

Any idea?
I have never posted on a forum before either - that's how much I want to be able to play this right now.

that card doesnt run well on brink. i guess its making your cpu go into a frenzy?

what cpu do you have btw?

also: its ATI's crappy opengl drivers. not SD's fault.

Yes. Blame the card. Even though other games work perfectly well with it.

I have i5-2500 3.30GHz

Do you think flashing the card to a 6970 would help? (was thinking about doing it anyway)
My friends got pretty much exactly the same computer build as me (made them at the same time) but he's got the 6970 and it runs with no problems for him.



EDIT: Just realized I have the 1GB card so I can't flash to the 6970 - pretty annoyed now.
