A Valley Without Wind

Anyone played this amazing game?

it has a nice mixture of platforming, action rpg'ish gameplay, strategy and crafting

and its endless!

one of a kind gem IMO

About the Game

A 2D sidescroller without a linear path. An action game with tactical combat and strategic planning. An adventure game that lets you free-roam a vast, procedurally-generated world. A Valley Without Wind defies genre stereotypes. Unlike other procedurally-generated games, you also get a logical progression in difficulty, plus helpful tips and checklists to guide your travels (should you need them).
Choose for yourself how to prepare to face the vastly stronger Overlord. Complete a variety of missions to earn arcane rewards, or roam the wilds to uncover secret missions and stashes of magical loot. Customize your characters with unique combinations of enchants and spells that change how you move, jump, and fight. Or rescue people and bring them back to your settlement, recruiting them to help you in return.
You choose how to play, and the world adapts around you.

Just saw this advertised on Steam and was planning to get it but the Legend of Grimrock sounds better.

I'll be buying it at some point. Arcen Games are one of my favorite developers. After all the free content they added on AI war I figure I might as well buy this game as well.

Looked it up on Steam. It looks pretty fun, especially with friends.

Oh, and the title (and the way it's written) makes me think of Nausica? of the Valley of the Wind.

I couldn't imagine spending $14 on a side-scroller, no matter how good it is.

Maybe when it comes down in price.

I just watched Totalbiscuit play and explain it for 25 minutes, it sounds pretty cool but I'm not sure how long it could keep me interested.

If there's a valley and no one's around. Does the wind blow?

this. and thats not a bad thing.

the game looked interesting to me, but ive got too much on my plate as it is. im actually hoping this year is one of those years where there aren't any good games coming out. just so that i can finish up the ones that i bought already.
