So out of bordom I decided to purchase RAGE dispite understanding the lack of content in the game. However, I had hoped there would be some interesting mods amoung the community that would shake things up. I also heard the twisted metal part of the game was pretty good.

Anywho - where are the mods, is there a location similar to NEXUS or something along that line? Or has the mod tools yet to appear and I'm just being an idiot?

And yes, the "Twisted Metal" part of the game, aka 'Carnage,' is very, very fun

Odd I swear i read several topics stating that the mod tools would be released only days after the launch of this game, and that was months ago.

That's what they said, but that's not what happened. The storm of driver problems and other post-release chaos kind of redirected id's attention to other issues.

Oh, and when the mod tools do come out, don't expect any mods that significantly alter the gameplay. The biggest mods will just add single new levels to RAGE if we're lucky, considering the man power that will be required to produce them.
