As with all aspects of any game, there is an immediate learning curve. Once you get past that - its all gravy.
I especially hated racing games until THIS ONE!!!
Now I am a true believer......lol.
Though the dune buggy to me is the best for quickness and maneuverability, you still have to get acquainted with the BOOST key/button, and you have to learn how to turn and power brake BEFORE the turn. Once you get your timing and post reaction timing down, the rest of it is great.
I do tho have one iddy biddy gripe about racing. The Cuprino is like trying to maneuver a garbage truck through 2 feet of mud. It also has a tendency for the front end to go airborne for the most minor of bumps. I take it that the sluggish turning radius is supposed to be related to a weight difference. If so, Howz come it goes airborne so damn easy?
Needs balanced my chums.
Until you learn the tracks and the responsiveness (or lack thereof) of each vehicle, stick to the center line and the flatest portion of the road. That will help.
Stopping and turning 180 degrees is an entirely different issue and would most likely need and entire thread on its own......lol
Cheers
