I was just tooling around & came across this screen shot.
It's not from anywhere in game I remember & shows a bandit (?) w/ red hair coming at you.
Does anybody know where this came from in game or is it perhaps, content cut or yet to be released?

they're scorchers. i guess they'll appear on DLC.

there's scorcher territory in the first wasteland and possible DLC level, watch tower.

I think you nailed it - haven't seen that concept art before.
I know there was Scorcher territory, but no actual on foot combat.

Just wish they'd hurry up & release it - on on my 3rd play through.
I love this game!

Man, aside from the Wasted clan, the Scorchers really do look the best, absolutely badass, their paint colors look to say:
"Here we are. You're going to die now, allright? GTFO!"

Really, they are the clan I was waiting to put bullets through, and I was very pissed when they weren't even in the game, they had no hideout. So they're still alive, still hiding, and when the DLC finally releases I will have my chance!

Hadn't noticed that before... I thought maybe they were only going to get vehicles, and not actually have a base after having played it. This thread is actually making sense of it though

According to the Rage chronicles http://www.rage.com/us/about-rage, the Scorchers were the only ones cut. So if they'll be in DLC, they better be dealt with in more depth than the previous clans, otherwise it will just be kinda lame. The Scorchers looks the most badass, so I sure hope I get some of their backstory... cuz they are crazy! Apophis-worshipping crazy dudes who like fire!

The scorchers looked cool but in the end they probably would've been too similar to the Wasted bandits, who had more style imo. I don't blame id for yanking them out of the final product, but I guess it would be nice to see them in DLC.
