Recently bought brink off steam and been trying to play it but the game keeps on crashing right after the brink splash screen. It doesn't even get me to the logo vids.

Seeing as you bought the game off Steam, it could be a corrupt download/installation. Have you tried re-downloading and/or re-installing?

I've redownloaded and reinstalled twice. Same issue both times. Has to be something deeper...?

I'm not sure how much more useful I can be as I do not own the Steam version, I did download the game for my PC during the free weekend just to see how it would run on my PC (Which does not meet the minimum spec) and I did not encounter any problems. Have you updated your DirectX to the latest version?

I have and unfortunately it's still not working.
