Need more games like Hunted

TY inExile for a unique take on an action rpg crawler. I was getting tired of the same action game over and over. I had been interested in this game ever since I saw it at Penny Arcade and I finally got it.

I must admit like everyone else does and so do the reviews, there is SO much potential for this type of game. I highly encourage an attempt at take two. Don't use a number 2 though, call it Hunted: whatever you want.

Anything said bad about this game actually can be translated into, I wish it was more like this or felt like this. The formula for a mega blockbuster title is in here, I just hope in the future it can be drawn out.

For the players that really liked this game, I encourage you to try the Free to play game Vindictus. Play Vindictus and then play Hunted: The Demon's Forge again and you'll understand what I'm getting at.

If Vindictus & Demon Forge had a baby, it'd be amazing! If I'm going to point out something I truly liked, it was the lack of inventory upkeep. Just keep grabbing new stuff to play with and understand you can't keep it. Great idea. I just wish there was just a few more inventory slots, like Gears of War. Carry a weapon on your back, in your sheath, a dagger holster.

I could bombard this forum with a wall of text that could make this game phenomenal in a future attempt. I just wanted to say I appreciated the game greatly and will attempt to communicate with the community more about the game.

I am one of the many people out there that actually like the game the way it is.
I'm not saying I don't have the ability to see that the game could have been made differently, but I don't see alternate design choices as "potential".
If I get a six change and start taking estrogen, then I have the "potential" of looking like a female. What does that prove? :nope:

Will do! Thanks for the suggestion!

I promise I'm not trying to troll you, and I know you mean well, but you are eluding to the idea that the game was bad, and that your advice alone could rescue this poor developer from oblivion. Are you a game consultant? Do you get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for your advice?

These guys did a great job. This is one of the most fun games I've played in a while.

I just wish there was just a few more inventory slots, like Gears of War. Carry a weapon on your back, in your sheath, a dagger holster.

In Gears of War, you have four inventory slots, correct?
Well, Hunted has seven. Think about it. Each character can carry two specialty weapons and one off-hand weapon (ie. E'lara can hold two bows and a sword), plus there are the four hot-key-able special abilities for each character. Meanwhile, each character can learn up to six special abilities that can be chosen at each load out.
So, uhhhhh.... yeah. Hunted has MORE inventory than Gears of War.

I understand that ultimately you're trying to say you enjoyed the game and you want a sequel. I agree.
You should just think about what you're saying and how you word things.

Cheers :foodndrink:
