Endless Space is a 4x turn based strategy game in development by Amplitude Studios. They say it's going to be more like Master of Orion than like Sins of a Solar Empire, which I'm pretty happy with

It looks very nice, I'll say that; looks very similar to Sins of a Solar Empire.

Unfortunately I didn't like Sins of a Solar Empire all that much, so hopefully it really is different.

Yeah I skipped ahead to find it, it starts shortly before the end.

Endless Space will have 8 factions vs Sins 3 and should have a much better developed singleplayer than Sins has and it will also have multiplayer.

As soon as a new trailer with more gameplay in it emerges I'll post it here.

Yeah, can't get excited for this. The "trailer" wasn't. Instead it was a boring advertisemant for something I had no interest in. And the 15 seconds of the game it did manage to show didn't show much if anything at all.

Maybe if theh release a real trailer my opionio will change. Until then I'm rolling with; "It looks like it's going to svck."

If you pre-order you can play the alpha! The game looks amazing, the UI is intuitive, there's depth to the gameplay... Overall this game in alpha looks much better than many 4x games you might have tried on their release...

Too bad the alpha doesn't have the custom race creation the full game will have, so the proposed gamesasium Forium race will have to wait
