If you mean, can you playing after the ending? No. You have to load a save game from before the big message that reads 'point of no return'

And for the record, Obsidian have said mutiple times they will not do a post ending DLC.

It would be too much work to add in the ability to play after the ending, too many possible endings.

If there are options of how to play the dlc I can only see a few.

1. with an old save after the MQ, you get the option of going to the dlc, but can't return back to the Mojave areas ( this is unlikely imo ).
2. New game needs to be started ( a good idea with any dlc / patch imo ).
3. You can play from any save prior to the MQ ending in NV kicking off ( highly likely ).
4. You can continue in all areas even after the MQ once dlc is installed ( I don't see this happening at all ).

The dev's prior to NV's launch made it clear that too many issues ( whether gamplay bugs or story based ) would pop up afterwards.
Also almost require as much work to implement correctly as it had to make NV itself.

yes, they would need to cover all possible endings if they removed the game ending. It would require to much resources and of course it could be bugged and so on.

But I like your first idea. I have seen it happening in Dragon Age Origins. You can load the save after the final battle and you appear in your camp. When you open the map, you can't travel anywhere but DLC location(s). I'd love it to be implemented here as well :-)

No they didn't.

The only mentions of a level cap they ever made was that there was one and that it was 30.

I wont be getting it because Im a third class citizen (PS3 user) here at BGSF. I don't mind I'll spend my money on something else. Bethesda doesn't know that releasing add-ons a year later won't sell well.

What do you mean? Just let us go out after the end. After that there is no end we just go out and tie up some loose ends and play future dlc. All that time and points and things collected was a waste having to go back to another save. They did in FO3. Stupid, realy stupid.
