I really hope they aren't forced to stop making it, Black Ops II looks seriously awesome!

I might actually buy a COD game if it were a sandbox world.

I'd be curious to see how that would work.

I think that would be a horrible idea for an action adventure FPS.

Like Gamer, the movie. Interesting but not sure how that would work.

I wosh COD could go back to World War 2, ext. Those where the good days....

It'd be cool if they finally moved away from the yearly release of the same game though.

I agree with that. I will refuse to buy the game if it is just the same stuff over and over. This game is on my radar and I will watch it closely, but seeing as how I bought 2/3 of their last games I'm a bit hesitant.

I think it is just rumors at this point but I heard they are rebuilding the MP from the ground up. So they are finally listening to people.

Maybe its just me but those clauses are pretty clear cut, how would you not know and produce a game in contravention of a contract you'd signed, unless you did it on purpose for a reason only they would know, and only a court could clear up.

Its basically you stick to games before this date in time and we make games after this date in time, seems pretty clear.

Lost interest in the series after Call of Duty 2.The idea of leveling up in MP in order to unlock better weapons and perks in a FPS game doesn't sit well with me.

I get the impression the muddiness is related to whether or not the memorandum is still in effect, rather than its contents. O'course, Activision may just be trying to find an angle they can use to get their way, rather than acting in good faith .
