So far I have only seen a dune buggy. Any one think that there will be other vehicles as well?

I believe the Game Informer preview from last August said that there should be multiple vehicles, and that the buggy is the first one you get. They haven't shown any of the other ones though.

there is no info about this, but the game will have plenty of vehicle combat and some races, so i think that the vehicles will be customizable :) at least like in gearbox' borderlands

Weapons and vehicles are supposed to be customizable, though to what extent they have never said.

I suspect it will at least allow you to upgrade the weapon on your car. Hopefully there are more details soon.

There are vehicular upgrades. The cover story from Game Informer (http://gameinformer.com/games/rage/b/xbox360/archive/2009/09/30/preview.aspxincludes this...
We pull back into the garage in Wellspring and have Mick fix up our ride. In the final game, he'll offer congrats on the latest completed mission and point you towards any new developments in town. Since we've got experience driving around the wasteland, now it's time to see if we can handle going pro in the racing circuit. Placing well in these events nets us racing certificates that can be used to purchase exclusive parts and upgrades from dealer Rusty's shop.

Yeah, Nick and I were just looking at it ... it's not a pretty site. Not sure what's going on there.

the entire demo is being played with an Xbox 360 controller plugged into a PC — a stark change for a developer with such a strong PC legacy.

“We don’t let them use the mouse right now because the largest chunk of our market’s going to be on the consoles,” says id co-founder and technical director John Carmack. “That’s actually a pretty strict dictum around here. Tim will go around and whack your hand with a ruler if you’re using a mouse playing the game. I mean, yes, you can use the mouse for it, but it’s critical that the controller be the way that we design the game.”

Alllllllllllllllllllrrrriiiighty then

F**king hell is it cold out here in pc land or is it just me

My worry is not the fact that a mouse and keyboard are easily configurable, It's the fact that fps games shouldn't be designed with consoles in mind. The best fps games ever created where created on the pc for the pc.
Take Cod2 designed for the pc (Brilliant game) ported to the console still brilliant game,Cod4 designed for the pc (Brilliant game) ported to the console still brilliant game, then you consider CodWaW designed for the console (good game) ported to the pc still good game, CodMw2 designed for the console (gash game) ported to the pc still gash game.
How ever you try and turd coat things, fps games designed for consoles always end up being parp :obliviongate:

Would be rather interesting to drive a tank around the wasteland, I hope that I can explore the game.
