Okay, I really hope those are 360 screenshots. The people look great.... and sure, that texturing system pretty much makes tiling textures a thing of the past.... but damn are some of those textures blurry! Half-Life 2 and games that run on 6 year old engines like Necrovision have sharper textures than that. I seriously hope thats just the 360 version with compressed textures, the PC version better be able to crank up that texture resolution.

Also, on some of those first person viewmodels like the ak47 and pistol looking thing, I think they could really throw some more polygons on that bad boy. Some of those polygon edges are just too blatant. some of the details on the gun just look really flat.... I know id is all about optimization but they shouldn't skimp on the object that you will be seeing from the closest perspective, carve out more detail into those viewmodels, please.

As an avid Quake fanatic I just offer this as constructive criticism and not as insults. Rage is easily one of my most anticipated games, I was saddened to find out recently that its delayed till 2011. I will be getting the PC version.

As far as I know, those are 360 screenshots :) only modified w/ AA / 1080p resolution. Even if this is the case, and these textures are low res on PC, there probably is a good reason for that. Seeing all of this in movement can definitely take you away from examining a still photo to find flaws :). But I have no doubt the PC version will be beefed up.

Textures look bad? No way! Textures look superb and i cant recall any game that has better textures. Just look that second picture where that cute woman is. I love the how the paint is run-down on the walls and that cola machine. :foodndrink:

Hopefully she is somewhat important character. :) Hopefully a companion or something like that. :whistling:

Is this going to be a open ended game or just a story driven shooter?
