Hi, not sure if I should post this here or not, but I noticed that on my profile it has a thing saying display name history, but there doesn't seem to be any way to change your display name, any reason why it's there? as for obvious reasons I would like to change this display name I made what, 3 1/2 years ago. Any help?
I did create a new account but I don't want to have to build up my title/ posts back up.

They don't allow people to change their names, makes it too hard to keep track of who's who. An admin may do a name change under exceptional circumstances, but generally just to correct spelling errors and the like.

Thats a shame since I really hate this name, oh well guess I'm going to just have to build up my posts on a new account. Or put up with this awful name, but why is there a display name history thing?

Think it's just a standard part of the software. Smaller forums will probably allow name changes or if a bigger forum they might charge for it or let premium members do it.

You can PM a mod or Admin if you want to change your name, but the only way they will do this is if you have a spelling mistake or daft capitalisation lIkE ThIS and find it to annoying to bear.
