does anyone know of a program that will let you configure your xbox gamepad buttons and switch them around? say if your attack button was X and you wanted to change it to right trigger (and the game doesnt have the option for it) ?

i wanted it for use in ridge racer unbounded to change the drift button to rb and the power button to right trigger

omg this is driving me INSANE >.< the game is great but it came with 2 presets for xbox gamepad. LB and RB for drift and boost. all i want is to change it to RB for drift and right trigger for boost i know xpadder is detected in the game, because when i press the button i have set (right trigger for space, which is the drift button for keyboard), a bit of text on the screen will flash on and off. but it doesnt do what i want it to do, which is get my damn car sideways!!11

yea i saw it but its just to emulate your PS3 gamepad as an xbox gamepad, so you can play games which require an xbox gamepad if you dont have one =/

SOLVED

using my logitech pad and the advice from this site i can now change all the buttons to whatever i wish by editing the ini file included in the download..
