Platforms boundaries

Do we want to have less community options/features or we want fully expansion on each platform as best as possible?

Imho I want all options we can have on each platform, so we can set up our servers the way we want to play in them, after all I paid for the server and for my custom PC so I can be able to customize my games and servers. I'm looking forward to the Software Development Tools so we can all improve the game's life length and maps variety.

Would be great if Splash Damage figures a way of creating a community system where mappers compete every once in awhile to get 1 map elected to insert into the console platforms, sort of TF2 community hat's system.

Apparently from the votes we got, it seems the majority wants to cut off PC legs by forcing PC owners to be stuck with peer-to-peer connection and no software development tools, sad.

What the options really mean:

1st - Same gameplay on the 3 platforms but no dedicated servers and no software development kit for PC owners

2nd - Same gameplay on the 3 platforms while PC gets dedicated servers and software development kit.

3rd - The game is downgraded so players stay dependent of DLCs, meaning that once you get all DLCs you get the full game, so no features for no one.

We already know PC is going to have dedicated servers and SDK's. When they get these for the Xbox call me.

I know. Just your posts have no bearing on what SD already plans to do.

perhaps didn't cross their minds to find a way of getting 1 or 2 community maps into consoles because consoles are explored to the bones.

But perhaps with a sort of vip pack dlc that could be called community pack dlc, I don't know how much investment splash damage had to do... but it's already sad to know they would have to pay to give something that should be for free.
