Is there a mod out there for the armor that's in the trailer with the red goggles?

Also would be sick if you could turn a red night vision on//off with them.

Don't like it. the eyes aren't red enough. and I don't like that invisible thing, way too OP. I just want some strong tough armor that looks exactly how it looks in the trailer but with a toggle red coloured night vision. Maybe something that can be compared to combat armor mark 2+mark 2 helm, but with toggle night vision and maybe +5 to guns and sneak or something.

If I had the slightest inkling of the know-how to do it I would. I've never tried to mod anything before. Maybe I'll try and figure it out. I already know exactly what I want, that armor that has +5 guns, +5 sneak, same stats as combat armor reinforced rank 2 + helm, and a toggle red night vision. Maybe I'll make an OP one that also comes with water breathing if I can figure it out.

I think I'd make the eyes glowing red instead of a static solid red colour. I think that would be F'n awesome.

Hmmmmm... I'm just surprised no ones done this yet to be honest. But I guess I will take a shot and try to figure it out.

To make the eyes glow red you need to make a glow map texture. and edit the helmet nif's emissive color to white and apply the glow map via nif hard-linking or a texture set.

If that made no sense, then don't bother till you understand what you are doing with the geck.

Techno mumbo jumbo that was like water slapping a metal door frame.

Got a lot to learn. DO you have any links on some useful user-guides for geck?

Read it, know it, eat it, breath it, become one with it.

Best source you will get. Though it doesnt contain much for NV specific things, but nearly everything in there is still applicable. Any questions, just take them to the GECK forum.

The one thing I don't like about the ranger armor is the pants, so I replaced them with the grunt fatigues.

Yeah, the pants are a bit meh. And the texture job on the inner leg is just silly. the texture doesnt even wrap all the way around cus they shaded it black for god knows what reason.

The armor you're thinking of is already in the game. Unfortunately, the only time it shows up is right at the very end, where using it is pointless.
