Im picking this game up before i go to work and gonna play for awhile tonite. Just wondering if their is any lag in the mp and how bad it is? If its terrible then ill just stick to sp for a few till it gets sorted out.

i have seen a few videos of people playing completely lag free on the pc however there have been a few reports of people experiencing bad lag, especially on the console.

Lag on Console is horrible, I dont know why they didnt test it. Apparently its fine on the PC as the OP said, so if you get it, get it for PC.

Plenty of lag indeed. I have had several decent matches, but the wall humping cover losing lag is more abundant.

ITs probably due to so many CONSOLE players playng on the frist day! =3

I'm relatively lag free on console. I do get lag spikes every few minutes.

Lag/clipping/framerate issues (whatever it may actually be) in certain rooms on XBOX can be quite terrible. But I found that if you just stick it out for a bit, the session tends to get migrated to a new host fairly quickly in most cases and then I typically ended up with a pretty smooth experience and a very solid connection.

I keep running into lag every time I go into a match. If I play the campaign or objectives with friends I am okay.

Half the games are laggy, the other half are prefect for me. Playing in the Competition (5 v 5) setting helps a lot.

This is on xbox 360.

On pc I don't get lag when I host a private game no password, and anyone seems to join, but when I join a game already in progress, I periodically get such bad lag it's unplayable and my guy can't even move sometimes.
When I'm hosting, i check the scoreboard when people say it's lagging, and everyone but me has a red block on their name line, I thought there was dedicated servers for this? Seems like it's local for me.

I'm on PC. Lag hasn't been a problem for me too often, but when it's bad, it's really bad. For some insane reason you can't aim your gun at all in high latency; it'll freeze your perspective, rooting you to the spot and preventing you from turning or interacting with your interface.
