Isn't placing explosives more of an engineers role then a soldiers? I mean given how the Engineer and Operative are so uber in this game why is this action only possible for soldiers to complete?

....We plant mines... lots of'em. You Soldiers need something to do, so we gave you a few pounds of C4 and kicked ya out of the house. :thumbsup:
But instead of complaining about it, be happy. You can play more of a support role, buff your team, spam nades. You play a huge role, even if it doesn't seem it.

Also, the two classes play well together, the weapon buffs and kevlar from a engi really help you out, while we need the ammo. Especially if both ppl are heavies. I like the balance, though I wish the operative had a little more going for him. I need to play online more.
