In my direct to drive it says that there is supposed to be a support thing in bethesda to say how but it doesn't. So how exactly do i go by doing this? do i have to Uninstall the game and use my pre order code for activation or what?

Make sure that the ESM in the opening window under Data Files is checked.

There is no ESM in my data thing, my pre order code was not unlocked when i went to install the game and i didnt think that you had to use the pre-order code to activate the game and items.... And now even if i uninstall the game i still cant use a my preorder code to actiavte it.... This is starting to piss me off.

So when you are installing the game it asks you to enter an activation code? If so it sounds like you would need to use the code associated with the pre-order somehow. Sorry I can't be of more help, I don't have the D2D version.

to activate the code, go to steam.....click on libarary, from there click on the games tab......on the bottom click on add a game, and click activate a product on steam and enter the code for the bonus material....u do not need to unistall and reinstall the game with that code
