Possible help for nvidia users

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 6:53 pm

My specs are

intel core 2 duo e4500 2.2 ghz
4g RAM
nvidia gtx 460 1g graphics driver 260.89 or something like that. (the newest one) I'm running it on one monitor

My settings in the nvidia control panel are as followed and I'm averaging around 55-60 fps now that I have changed them.
I was averaging about 20 fps before my changes. I hope this helps other people. :)

Under Program Settings
Antistropic filetering - 16x
AA - gamma correction - on
AA - Mode - Override application setting
AA - Setting - 8x
AA - Transparency - 8x (supersample)
CUDA - GPUs - All
Maximum pre-rendered frames - 8
Multi-display/mixed-GPU accelaration - Single display performance mode
Power management mode - Prefer maximum performance (I heard that this setting could be a big possible solution to FPS drops if set to adaptive)
Texture Filtering - Antistropic sample... - On
Texture Filtering - Negative LOD... - Clamp
Texture Filtering - Quality - High Quality
Texture Filtering - Trilinear optimization - On
Texture Filtering - Triple buffering - On
Texture Filtering - Antistropic filter optimiz... - off
V-sync- Force On

I hope this helps you guys who are having problems and best of luck to all of you who are having these issues I feel for ya. Been waiting to long for this game, and the last thing I want to deal with is bugs :P

I couldn't get AA/AF to work through the NVCP, I had to use the launcher.
