So the game just started to get interesting after I first spoke with mr house, and then when I tried to leave the lucky 38 it froze, similar to the way it did when I tried to enter new vegas. I got through that by wearing the sherrifs hat, so I'm wondering if theres some kind of magic apparel for this too? My freezing issues have gotten worse since I downloaded the patch. Will getting a new replacement disc acheive anything? Due to the number of similar posts I've seen, I think not.

I know how you feel, i thought i was beating the system by entering the strip with my fancy 'old cowboy hat' but when i saved INSIDE the strip, i got stuck. Everytime i load my save game, the screen freezes on the loading page. I dont even get to walk around the casino. I hate restarting games...especially fallout because im level 23 and spent a great amount of my time playing it. Im hoping a patch or something is gonna come to my rescue....but im doubting it.
