Classic Pack Code Invalid

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 10:11 pm

same problem, i have a ps3. starting the game now to get the lame items later defeats the purpose of having those items anyways..but im pissed off more now because i just found out xbox is getting exclusive dlc once again...so we have to wait on our codes which hinders gameplay and we get screwed out of dlc like we did with fallout 3...way to go bethesda, nice to screw your customers over isnt it?

well when PS3 owners start paying a monthly fee for their internet things might change

ALSO I FORGOT TO SAY...Doesn't the PSN store update later on Tuesday? That is more likely the reason why we can't use it yet. Just gotta wait till later today for them to update and have it up for everyone.

This is what I was thinking after I entered it initially and it didn't work. Given that you have to download it through the PSN Store, it probably won't be available until around 5/6 p.m. Central TIme (I'm in Illinois).

Lame. Oh well, looks like I'll have it for starting my Wild Wasteland profile :-D.

Just relax, guys. Give it until later today before getting concerned. I'm sure Sony's just being a little slow.

A few solutions to try, my friends:

1. Is it possible that most codes are on a time-delay? As in, only AFTER a certain time (say, midnight in the timezone of wherever Black Isle's HQ is), will most codes work (except for a certain amount which were written up to be exempt, so they could test the DLC, and so the developers and the reviewers could use it?). The solution for this is simply to wait a bit and try again (by now they all should be active).

2. Is it a problem with the code itself? I know that for my Xbox 360, if it says a code is invalid, that either means it's not a real code or it has already been used. Try e-mailing GameStop, or the other retailer you pre-ordered from, and tell them about the problem. I had a problem once where my pre-order code was not with my game, and I e-mailed gamestop, and after askign for some information from my pick-up receipt, they e-mailed me a DLC code.

That's all I got.. hope it helps!

We're looking into this and hope to have an update soon. If you see other threads re: PSN redeemable codes, feel free to pass the word along.

I entered the classic pack code and it says it is invalid...triple checked it...how do I resolve this problem?

I have tried to enter the classic pack code in the PlayStation store area and in the account management. Both time I was unsuccessful.
