I picked up Fallout New Vegas happily with a buddy when it hit stores. I hate to say this(and it's pretty obvious at this point) it aimed to displease.

The image above ^ is me aiming a Varmint Rifle at some flaming barrels. If not anything else this game managed to pull with me, this is what really set me off of it. The fact that all these things are happening; constant freezing, companions getting stuck in every single thing possible, poorly designed terrain(as a good example if you haven't experienced it already, there's a mountain next to "Hidden Valley" that can be scaled. There's a huge hole in the top that you can fall into and become "one" with the mountain. Just don't save when you get in there.) the crosshair is slightly off, some events and quests are impossible to do because of glitches that interfere(key characters vanish, trigger events vanish in speech, speech events don't work properly) and most importantly,(and although it's not a glitch it's very annoying) the invisible walls. The walls you encounter that don't even stop you from going beyond the map but stop you from exploring the near ends of the map or even stop you from going places within the map. There are no notices telling you "You cannot go past this point" or something of the likes, no it's just placed to smash any interest you had in that area and piss you off.
I'll say this much: the game had potential, with the ideas and advancements added, but in the end I still feel cheated out of what I expected which was basically another fallout game I could enjoy. It's great to have advancements but when they don't work and when you can see that the game lacks effort, maybe it needed more time I don't know. It's just an insult being charged the near 60 bucks it costed and being presented with all of these problems. This isn't a "Fallout" game, it's just a turd in a costume. I actually had to stop playing when this scope incident happened, sign up for this forum and post this. Plus I heard Bethesda was taking note of problems from their boards. That's... Great I guess. This'll be my contribution.
You can fix the game 'till time's end if you want but you can't fix the first impression... Unless you have a time machine.
Anyhow, at the edge of my frustrations with this game; who the hell put Cazadors in here? Seriously, not funny. At least you can appreciate Deathclaws for being awesome but hell these things just svck.
