GECK help

This is the first time i have used a GECK...i downloaded it, and unziped it and put in the


C:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas

but wen i click on the geck.exe to open it up, nothing pops open...am i doing something wrong?

That's an installer, not the editor itself. Move it elsewhere, and try running as administrator if you have UAC enabled?

No, the Geck download for New Vegas is the actual program - there is no installer for it, unlike the one for FO3.

UAC/Not Running as Administrator could be the issue, however.

EDIT: Also, you need to put every file from the archive you got it in into the Fallout New Vegas folder, not just Geck.exe.

thanks for help, i think the problem was that one file from the download didnt go into the NV folder...did it over and it works now....thanks agian
