I think the smart system will be amazing! It would kinda make a game with a combination of mirrors edge and team fortress 2, infact the S.M.A.R.T system is one of the reasons im getting brink.

Well it can either be ignored by players who want to treat the game like any other shooter, used as a semi-passive way to get around by those who don't wish to master it, or mastered, exploited and embraced by those who want to find ever more interesting ways to surprise their opponents. So really it depends on the player, i myself intend to belong to the last group and will enjoy it to the fullest. :celebration:

Th S.M.A.R.T system looks good, and will add a new dynamic for many. Being able to climb, slide out of danger without having to be perfectly lined up with the mantle object beats trying to run round a corner or going prone.

i like it, it's so annoying when you stick behind something you should really have been able to get over, or be stuck on a container with a wall right in front of you that can't be climbed over, while it's actually completely possible to do so...

S.M.A.R.T. sounds cool. Also sounds like button-mashing, and when it doesn't work like you'd want it to it may feel like keyboard-smashing.

SMART has to be smart. It has to do what we want it to do or i'll rage. :P

SMART is a button you hold it down no mashing involved. Also its the Sprint button.

I'll probably start out as a mid until I get comfortable with it, then move over into the full. Being stuck with just a sub machine would svck if I didn't really know how to use SMART yet

i think, that with s.m.a.r.t. fast players will be unhittable. and thats good. good player know the map, where to jump or hide, secret places.. and thats smart!

*sigh*
if you picture S.M.A.R.T. don't think about a guy performing tricks in the air not to get hit.
see it as a way to get where you want to be, but smoother and faster.

it will help when you get shot in the back and you want to dash for cover, but running at a guy while using smart will not make you invincible...

well said, but could be better read as  instead of *sigh*

I hope being good at smart is hard and ins't something everyone can just do, but at the same time basic mantles, vaults, slides, and other things you can't do in normal shooters are still easy to preform. SMART in general will be my bread and butter, but I fail to see how it could be used to dodge bullets.
Get away partially unscathed yes, dodge bullets, NO.

I hear the S.M.A.R.T system is pretty..."Puts on sunglasses"..Smart....YEEAAAAH!
Anywho, i`m hoping for maps with some hard to reach places only possible to get to them is with the manual S.M.A.R.T moves, maybe find some eastereggs.

i think its going to be amazing if the devs are working it really out...it would svck if there are some guys who will make an advantage of every little mistake in this system...for example: sniper places which have to good cover or something like this...S.M.A.R.T will be only smart if there is no way to exploit it...

one more point i have is, that if u play in multiplayer and there are people who have an internet connection which really svcks...are they going to lagg whole the through map and nobody can hit them or how are u guys going to fix this problem...?

I've apprehensions about SMART that I won't be able to alleviate until I actually play the game or a demo. I personally think it's a great concept, and am only a bit concerned about how it handles. I've this fear that the game could become Gunz all over again, just without swords this time. :P
