Is the new DLC really worth nine dollors

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:46 am

I was wondering if dead money is worth buying or waiting for. What are the Pros and Cons to it also any bugs with it?

Pro: It's more fallout-y goodness.
Con: I suppose if there are bugs waiting to get it (until a patch came out) would save you from that. I got it as soon as it came out and so far nothing buggy has happened.

I've just read an article which says that it increases the level cap to 35 - can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

From what I can tell, he's not looking for anything specific, he's just a treasure hound.

Frankly, I'm just psyched that the Abandoned Brotherhood of Steel Bunker is unlocked. That was as far as I got before having to get to work.

I've already done everything in the vanilla game. Getting a little more New Vegas in the form of DLC is definitely worth the money for me.

ok i thought he was looking for some high tech technology since he is an ex brotherhood of steel elder and especially because what happened at Helios 1and also everyone says he is crazy when it comes to technology.

For some reason I didn't get charged for this DLC. I added 1000 MSpoints to my account so I could buy it, downloaded it then I checked my balance and it was still 1000 MSPoints. I'm undecided on whether or not that's a good or bad thing. But either way I'm looking forward to getting into it.

If you compare it to the Fallout 3 DLCs. Yes it is.
It can also take seven hours+ on your first run. And it's very hard to turbo threw compare to say O:A or Pitt.
Gear/item/Perk wise it's on the weak side. But getting a +5 levels and +2 perks is nice for a first DLC.

I feel so far like it's going to be hard to speed through. Each room I enter I spend a minute looking for
Spoiler
speakers/radios
and picking up all the
Spoiler
Sierra Madre chips
, plus since I have no stimpacks since
Spoiler
all of your equipment is taken at the start
so I'll be a while going through this one.
